Last name Go QMJHL unveils 2010-11 regular season schedule

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, May 21, 2010 – The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today announced the details of the 2010-11 regular season schedule.

The season opens on Thursday, September 9 as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan visit the President Cup champion Moncton Wildcats. The season ends on March 20.

612 games are scheduled with the busiest days being Fridays (188 games) and Saturdays (150 games).

Approximately 81% of the games will be played on week-ends or during the Christmas Holiday break in order to maximize the players' academics.

Moreover, the League's eighteen teams will compete within three divisions.
