COOPER COMMITS TO BGSU

St. Michael's Buzzers forward Mark Cooper (photo credit - Izak Westgate/HHOF) has confirmed his commitment to join the Bowling Green State University Falcons beginning with the 2012-13 CCHA season.

The 6'2", 180 lbs. native of Scarborough, Ontario is currently in his second OJHL season as a member of the Buzzers after joining the club last season as a 18-year old. The rookie finished third in scoring on the club in 2010-11 with 23 goals and 52 points, while playing in all 50 games. Cooper has carried his excellent play into this season, already close to exceeding both totals as his sits tied for the Buzzers lead in scoring with 21 goals and 50 points in only 38 games played, and has been one of the key contributors to the club's first place ranking most of the season.
