Cleveland playoff games to be aired over radio

Press Release

The Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks have been in negotiations with a local radio station for the past few weeks to allow hockey fans the ability to listen to the Jacks live on the air. We are happy to announce that this years playoffs against the Metro Jets will be live on the air on 88.3 FM The Sting.

"This is a great thing for our organization. We have been quietly working all season on this type of deal and the great people at WBWC have taken a vision that we had and turned it into reality. These boys work very hard though the season and one of my main goals is to put them in a spotlight so that their talents can be noticed." said Director of Game Day Operations and Media, Tony Sposit.

"As far as our organization goes, this is going to be a huge advantage for our boys as not only will parents be able to hear them, but anyone listening to this station. I think that our league is becoming more professional each day and that this is a step in the right direction on our end." said Coach Bob Jacobson.
The games will be aired live on 88.3 FM WBWC in the Cleveland area and can be heard on the 88.3 website at www.wbwc.com. This tuesday Tony will be on the weekly show Sports Pulse talking about the Jacks and that show starts at 9 PM.
