Huberdeau, Beaulieu and Roy nammed the TELUS three stars of the month of February

Jonathan Huberdeau, Nathan Beaulieu and Frédérick Roy were named today the TELUS three stars of the month of February.

Saint John Sea Dogs left winger, Jonathan Huberdeau was named the first star of the month. Author of 21 points in 10 games, Huberdeau scored 11 goals, including 4 winning goals. His + / - is just as impressive with +16! Moreover, he played 3 games of 4 points in February and is only missing one point to reach his all time QMJHL career record of 200 points.

Sea Dogs defenseman Nathan Beaulieu collected 15 assists a record among all QMJHL players for the month of February with a total of 17 points in 11 games. He also maintained an extraordinary +/- of +12. On February 11th, he landed a new record for a Sea Dogs defenceman with his 135th career point, burrying Simon Despres’ 134 points.

With 4 goals and 14 assists for a total of 18 points in 10 games and a +/- of +7, Quebec Remparts left winger, Frédérick Roy gets the third star of the month. It’s worth mentioning that in 5 games during the month of February, he racked up two points or more. His recent performances have propelled him to the 4th rank in the league’s leading scorers (83 points).
