Attack Sign Daniel Milne

Press Release

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that General Manager Dale DeGray has signed forward Daniel Milne to an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

Milne was the Attack’s 3rd Round Draft pick in the 2010 Priority Selection and attended training camp that August, impressing many with his skill, speed and tenacity, however; Milne elected to pursue post secondary options in the NCAA with the University of Michigan. Milne, spent his underage season with the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OPJHL tallying 15 points in 33 games, however; he broke out in his second season with the St. Michael’s Buzzers, tallying 16 goals and 31 assists in 38 games.

The 6’0, 190lb Unionville native has suited up in seven games for Michigan this season.

“We are extremely thrilled that Daniel has chosen the Attack and the Ontario Hockey League to further his hockey career.”, stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. “In 2010 we felt he was a player that could contribute greatly to our team and our feelings have not waivered in that regard. We are looking forward to him and his family being a part of our organization.”

It is a possibility that Milne will suit up tonight when the Attack square off against the Ice Dogs in Niagara.
