MAINEiacs acquire all-star goaltender Olivier Roy

Maineiacs trades becoming official

DRUMMONDVILLE, Friday, June 4, 2010 – Teams were active on the trade front this morning as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League opened its official trade period. A few clubs made blockbuster moves to get their rosters ready for next season.

The MAINEiacs acquired all-star netminder Olivier Roy (12-07-91) and a third round pick in 2010 from the Screaming Eagles for second and third round picks in this year’s entry draft as well as a second round selection in 2012.

The Voltigeurs sent Charles Landry (03-06-91) and Philippe Lefebvre (28-02-91) to the Juniors for first round picks in 2010 and 2011.

The Rocket acquired Andrej Nestrasil (22-02-91) and Travis McIsaac (20-02-90) from the Tigres for their third, fourth and eighth round picks in 2010, their second and third round selections in 2011 and Vincent Richer (08-10-92).

The Titan acquired Olivier Hotte (30-12-90) and Sébastien Paquette (91-10-30) from the Voltigeurs for Julien Tremblay (29-12-91) and a sixth round selection in 2010.

The Foreurs traded Samuel Morneau (90-02-10) to the Olympiques for a first round pick in 2011. Gatineau also sent second and third round selections in 2011 to the Huskies for Nicolas Deslauriers (91-02-22).

The Océanic traded first and second round picks in 2012 for Jérôme Gauthier-Leduc (30-07-92).
