John Ramage Named Captain of 2011 U.S. National Junior Team

BUFFALO, N.Y. - John Ramage (Chesterfield, Mo./Univ. of Wisconsin) was named captain of the 2011 U.S. National Junior Team, and will be joined by alternate captains Ryan Bourque (Boxford, Mass./Quebec Remparts) and Jeremy Morin (Auburn, N.Y./Rockford IceHogs). three players were members of last year's U.S. squad that captured the gold medal at the 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Regina and Saskatoon, Sask.

The 2011 U.S. National Junior Team will compete at the IIHF World Junior Championship Dec. 26, 2010-Jan. 5, 2011, in Buffalo, N.Y. Team USA will play its first preliminary-round game on Sunday (Dec. 26) against Finland. The game, to be televised on NHL Network U.S. and streamed live on, will start at 8:00 p.m. EST.
