Press Release

Lewiston, ME (QMJHL) - The Lewiston MAINEiacs have announced a trade, acquiring forward Bryce Milson from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, in exchange for a second round pick in the 2012 QMJHL Entry Draft. The move is effective immediately.

Milson, 17, was originally drafted by Acadie-Bathurst with the 22nd overall pick (2nd round) in the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft. The Miramichi, NB native immediately joined the Titan last season for his rookie campaign, amassing nine goals, 11 assists, 20 points, and 29 penalty minutes in 65 regular season games. This season, Milson is on a similar scoring pace, as he has registered four goals, six assists, ten points, and 12 penalty minutes in 35 games with Acadie-Bathurst.

"We are getting a talented, young, gritty hockey player, who we expect will be with the MAINEiacs for several seasons," said MAINEiacs President & Governor Bill Schurman. "Bryce has played at the international level, and has proven that he has what it takes to become an elite player in our league." We expect our fans to notice his presence right away," he said.
