Bulls Announce Roster Moves - Add More Firepower

Press Release

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announced several roster moves prior to this weekend’s doubleheader at The Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

The Bulls have acquired forward Sean Keane from the Wichita Falls Wildcats in exchange for forward Colton Warner. Keane will add more scoring punch to the line-up following some great numbers with the Wildcats. He netted 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points in 44 games and was a plus five. Keane had 94 penalty minutes and 97 shots on goal.

In other moves, the Bulls welcomed back forward Taylor Ward to the team. Ward, who started the season in Amarillo was acquired from the Austin Bruins. The team also added defenseman Zane Popilock from the USHL. Defenseman Kyle Sucher was sent to the Aberdeen Wings, while Terrance Johnson and Chris Cass were both traded to different leagues.

“It was a tough decision; however one that I felt was best for the organization. I am extremely excited about the addition of Sean, Taylor and Zane. I expect all of them to play a significant role in the success of the Bulls” said Williams. “I would like to thank Kyle Sucher, Terrence Johnson, Chris Cass and Colton Warner for their efforts and wish nothing but the best of luck to them.”

The Bulls are looking to rebound and snap a two-game losing streak tomorrow (Saturday) night when they host the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm. These two teams always play one another tough with the Bulls having a decided edge in the season series.
