Maxime Dumond Committs to Alaska-Fairbanks DI for 2012

Braves Forward Maxime Dumond has committed to Division I University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Max will join the Nanooks for the 2012 Collegiate season.

Max has been an impact player for the Braves over the last two-and-a-half seasons. He has been on a point-per-game pace this year as the teams second-leading point producer with 10 goals and 25 assists for 35 points in 34 games. Last year he participated in the CJHL Top Prospects game in Winkler, MB and was selected as the Captain of Team CJHL(now CHL Tier 1) at the Battle of Ontario in Pembroke.

The University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks compete in the Division I Central Collegiate Hockey Association against teams in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois and are currently in 4th place of 11 teams with a 6-5-3-2 record.
