2012 RBC Moncton Wildcats Skills Competition

Press Release

The Wildcats have decided to give the local area minor hockey associations the opportunity to host this year’s 2012 RBC Moncton Wildcats skills competition. We have been working with the associations on other initiatives such as offering free professional websites and fundraising opportunities. This will be other way we can work with them!

A voting contest was launched yesterday to see where the RBC Moncton Wildcats Skills Competition should take place this year. The date will be announced after the site for this is determined.

Eight local minor hockey associations are in the running to play host to it. They are Dieppe/Memramcook, Riverview, Moncton, Kent Sud/Bouctouche, Lewisville, Shediac, Sackville and Petitcodiac/Salisbury.

Go to the Wildcats' Facebook page, Like them and you will see a vote minor hockey tab. Click on the association you would like to see host the team's skills competition. You have until Feb. 3 to vote. Click Here: http://on.fb.me/zSYXys

"Whoever hosts our skills competition can sell tickets at the door and raise some money for their association," said Rose. "Minor hockey is a great partner of ours and we see this as another extension of how we can work with them.

"If we can help them raise some money, that's fantastic. It's also another way for the Wildcats to go into the community and make an impact which is something we want to do. We'll bring our team bus to the skills competition and make it into an event where people can take pictures and get autographs."
