The Vancouver Giants have added centre Riley Kieser to their roster. The 18 year old from Sherwood Park, AB was playing with the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL. He had 8 goals, 5 assists, 13 points, and 20 penalty minutes in 31 games. Listed less then a month ago by the Giants, Kieser, who stands 6'0, 182 lbs, played at the 2011 World Junior 'A' Challenge last November in Langley, BC helping Canada West to a gold medal victory over Canada East. He will join the Giants on Monday.
The Giants have also reassigned forward Levi Bews to Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL. Originally acquired October 4, 2011 along with Adam Morrison from the Saskatoon Blades, the 17 year old had 3 goals, 5 assists, 8 points, and 22 penalty minutes in 34 games with the Giants.
