FOSSEN COMMITS TO CLARKSON

DUBUQUE, Iowa-- Dubuque Fighting Saints forward A.J. Fossen had himself a Merry Christmas this year. The native of Maple Grove, Minnesota announced his college commitment to Clarkson University this week, just in time for the holiday season. Fossen is the 14th member of the Fighting Saints to earn a college scholarship.

The scrappy forward stands at 5-foot-9 and 180 lb. and previously played for the Chicago Young Americans U18 Team. Fossen is in his first year with the Fighting Saints and has tallied five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 26 games. He has also racked up a team best 75 penalty minutes and is a plus-12.

The forward will join the Golden Knights after his time in Dubuque. Former Fighting Saint TJ Moore is on Clarkson's roster as well.
