MUSKEGON, Michigan (January 8th)
– The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that Vice President Keith
Sullivan will also take over the General Manager operations for the
hockey team effective immediately. Sullivan is in his first year with
the Lumberjacks organization as he was hired in late September to serve
as the Vice President for the team.
“Keith
(Sullivan) is immensely qualified for the position due to his scouting
expertise in the NHL along with previous stints in the USHL,” said
Lumberjacks Owner and CEO Josh Mervis. “Keith (Sullivan) has done a
fabulous job complimenting the things that are already in place and is a
huge asset for this organization as we continue to get better on and
off the ice.”
Sullivan
is currently in his second stint with the USHL, where he previously
scouted for the Lincoln Stars and Omaha Lancers. During his time with
the Lancers, he took on the role of being the head scout for the
organization. Sullivan then moved on to the NHL where he spent time with
both the Phoenix Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets.
