Following the Bears game Sunday in Cumberland, Chris Maniccia announced that he has accepted a full scholarship to play hockey at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell beginning in the 2013-2014 season.
The St. Catherines native becomes the 6th Bear to commit to a NCCA school.
The 2nd year Bear follows Cameron Romoff (Brown University), Blaine Byron (Maine University), Michael Buonincontri (St. Cloud State), Connor McLaren (Princeton University), & Jake Butler (Manhattanville College).
Maniicia, Romoff, Byron, & Butler will begin their NCAA careers in the 2013-2014 season while McLaren & Buonincontri will enroll for the 2014-2015 season.
