Gamblers set to “Sting Cancer” this Saturday

Press Release

The Green Bay Gamblers will donate a portion of ticket sales from their Saturday, October 26 game at the Resch Center to Sting Cancer. Face-off is set for 7:05pm.

Sting Cancer was started 10 years ago by Nick Nesvacil, who is a cancer survivor and teacher at Green Bay Preble High School.  What started with only a handful of students has grown into an organization that now involves 19 schools and hundreds of students.  The Sting Cancer mission is to help families affected by cancer.  More information is available at http://stingcancer.com.

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Sting Cancer merchandise at the game.  Finally, our friends from the 501st Garrison (Star Wars) will be raising funds for Sting Cancer though their “Shoot a Trooper” promotion, which will take place on the second floor concourse.
