Could We See Turris?

Michael Farber of Sports Illustrated is reporting that the Phoenix Coyotes might make Kyle Turris available for the World Junior Championships.

The Coyotes might be willing to loan Turris to Team Canada for the event that starts the day after Christmas.
That would be huge for the Canadians. They would pull away from the competition even further. Maybe sending him to the World Junior Championships would get his confidence back. He has a goal and three assists in 11 games. It seems like the Coyotes aren't willing to send him down to the AHL. They are just as happy for him sitting the press box. That's not alway a bad thing as David Perron did the same thing last year.

Just think of this team with all the players in the NHL on Team Canada. Forget about fielding the team the World Junior Championships but rather the World Championships (Okay, maybe I am going a little too far with that assessment).

Here is my line up with NHL players

Goalies

Chet Pickard (Tri-City Americans)
Dustin Tokarski (Spokane Chiefs)

Defense

Drew Doughty (Los Angeles Kings)
Luke Schenn (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Alex Pietrangelo (St. Louis Blues)
P.K. Subban (Belleville Bulls)
Thomas Hickey (Seattle Thunderbirds)
Colten Teubert (Regina Pats)
Tyler Myers (Kelowna Rockets)

Forwards

Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay Lighting)
Kyle Turris (Phoenix Coyotes)
Sam Gagner (Edmonton Oilers)
Colton Gillies (Minnesota Wild)
Josh Bailey (New York Islanders)
Brandon Sutter (Carolina Hurricanes)
John Tavares (Oshawa Generals)
Logan Couture (Ottawa 67's)
Cody Hodgeson (Brampton Battalion)
Dana Tyrell (Prince George Cougars)
Zach Boychuk (Lethbridge Hurricanes)
Matt Duchene (Brampton Battalion)
Brayden Schenn (Brandon Wheat Kings)

I know some players are injured but that would be my roster.
That's My Take
