Krill Kabanov has made his KHL debut with Spartak Moskva this week. He just played in the World Junior A Challenge to playing in the best league in Europe. That's not bad at all.

Five players have officially signed Letters of Intent to Notre Dame for next season. Cam Fowler is one of the five which is no surprise. As I point out here, this doesn't mean anything until he gets onto campus. Anyways this looks like a strong class for Notre Dame.

Western Michigan has signed three players from the USHL.

I got word from Terrier Hockey Fan Blog that Jeremy Morin was spotted at the Boston University game last Sunday with his brother Chad. Could Boston University pick up another blue chip prospect for next year?

Here's something interesting, the Minnesota Golden Gophers is in a recruiting battle with the football team. Anders Lee is a highly touted forward and is the star quarterback at Edina.

How about this. The Swift Current Broncos could be playing home games of the first round of the playoffs for the 2009-2010 season at a neutral site. Still a long ways away.

That's My Take
