Maxwell Leaves the NTDP

USHR.com (subscription based website) is reporting that goaltender Brandon Maxwell will be leaving the National Team Development Program for the Windsor Spitfires. The 17-year-goaltender had a 6-3 record with a 3.61 goals against average and a .857 save percentage this season.

He was a Boston College commitment for next season.

This leaves the National Program with only three goalies in the system. The big question is who will they fill the opening slot? Will they go to a 17 year old or will they add a 16 year old to join the Under 17 team and bring one of the goalies on the Under-17 team up?
