MacQueen's 400th win

Press Release

Sault Ste. Marie, ON - Dave MacQueen led his team into Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday in search of his 400th career OHL coaching victory.

The 400-mark is a large milestone in the OHL coaching ranks as only 9 coaches previous to MacQueen have reached that mark.

Number 400 would not be easy to come by as the Greyhounds put up a good fight in this one actually leading for most of the game.

However the Sting would get a late second period goal and put together a strong third period winning the game 4-2.

It would take the Sting 39 minutues before they would even get on the board when Steven Reese scored a huge short handed goal in the dying seconds of the second period.

Jamie Arniel, Ben O'Quinn and Matt Martin would all score third period goals for the Sting.

For Arniel it extended his goal scoring streak to a league high 10-games.

Dan Spence made 19 saves in the Sting net for the win.

The entire Sarnia Sting organization congratulates Coach MacQueen on reaching the 400-win milestone.
