Brandon, MB. -- The
Brandon Wheat Kings, in conjunction with the Keystone Centre have
announced plans to close their offices for a few days over the Christmas
holidays.
While the Western Hockey League club will host one game - Friday, December 28th - against the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors,
the Wheat Kings' office will be closed from Saturday, December 22nd to
Wednesday, December 26th inclusive. The office will re-open at 12 noon
Thursday, December 27th and will be open all day Friday, December 28th
in preparation for their first post-Christmas home game, which will
feature another PhysioFirst Chuck-a-Puck in support of Funds for Furry
Friends.
For those western
Manitoba hockey fans looking for that last minute Christmas gift idea,
the hockey club's Souvenir Shop will be open this Saturday, December
22nd from 10am to 3pm. Fans wanting to purchase tickets to any of
Brandon's remaining home games can do so at the Keystone Centre box
office all day Friday, December 21st and from 9am to 4pm on Saturday,
December 22nd.
The Keystone
Centre box office will then be closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday, December 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th. It will re-open for
business at 8am Thursday, December 27th.

Following
Friday's game against the Warriors, the Wheat Kings office will be
closed until Wednesday, January 2nd for New Years. The Keystone Centre
office will also be closed, however, the box office will be open from
9am to 4pm on Saturday, December 29th.
Brandon's first home game of 2013 will be Saturday, January 5th - Family Skate Night
at Westman Place - when the Wheat Kings host the Medicine Hat Tigers.
That game is a presentation of 880 CKLQ, 94.7 Star FM and The Home Depot
and will feature a "free" post-game public skate with members of the
hockey team.
January 5th is
also another Source for Sports Family Night. For details on the Wheat
Kings' $48 Family Pack that includes two adult and two youth tickets, 4
6" subs from Subway and four programs, be sure to visit Brandon Source
for Sports, located at 2025 Brandon Avenue.
