The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), in conjunction with the
Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), today unveiled the rosters for the
two Prospect Teams that will compete at the 2012 Central Canada Cup
scheduled to take place in Wellington, Ontario from December 27-29 at
the Wellington & District Community Centre.
A new feature to this year’s event is the Prospect Game showdown
between the CCHL and OJHL with the game to be played on Saturday,
December 29 at 4pm, just prior to the Central Canada Cup championship
game, which will take place at 7pm.
The two rosters consist of 40 players and include three members of Team
Canada East at the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge, three members of Team
East at the CJHL Prospect Game series and six NCAA Division I
commitments. The CCHL roster consists of representation from 10
different teams with the Kanata Stallions and Brockville Braves leading
the way with three selections each. The OJHL roster includes
representation from 12 member clubs, led by the Newmarket Hurricanes

Also announced today were the coaching squads for both Prospect Teams.
The CCHL will be lead by co-coaches Rick Dorval of the Ottawa Jr.
Senators and Jason Clarke of the Carleton Place Canadians. Paul Findall
of the Cumberland Grads is assistant coach with Lou Nistico of the
Kanata Stallions as manager. The OJHL will be led by Pickering Panthers
head coach Mike Galati, who will be assisted by his assistant coaches
from Pickering, Phil Barski and Dan Sullivan.
