Chiefs forward Hills commits to Saints

Chilliwack Chiefs forward Trevor Hills has accepted a scholarship to St. Lawrence University for the 2013-14 season.

The Rochester, N.Y. product is in his second year with the Chiefs and has produced seven goals and 12 assists in 24 games so far this season. He is the second BCHLer to commit to St. Lawrence this season along with Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward Ryan Lough though Lough will be heading to school until the 2014-15 season.

St. Lawrence University is located in Canton, N.Y. and was founded in 1856. The team, nicknamed the Saints, competes in the NCAA's Division I Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference against the likes of Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Dartmouth.

Currently, there are two BCHL grads on the Saints roster in Sean McGovern and Alex Hagen.
