Wellington Dukes netminder Matt Larose (photo credit - Mike DiCarlo/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers beginning with the 2013-14 season.
The 20-year old native of Nanaimo, B.C. joined the Dukes this season
after spending the previous two years with Trail and Alberni Valley in
the BCHL. Thus far this season, he has posted an 11-9-2 record with a
2.86 goals against average, a .927 save percentage and two shutouts for
the club, while earning a spot on the OJHL East Division All-Stars that
will compete at the 2012 Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge presented
by Huff's Estate in memory of Peter Huff from December 27-29 in front
of his hometown fans.
