Raycroft will help solidify the Belleville blueline after deals that saw the departure of Daniel De Sousa to Saginaw and Brady Austin to London in the hours prior.
"Mark is a mobile defenceman who makes a good first pass and moves the puck well," said Burnett of the new acquisition.
A right-handed shooting rearguard, Raycroft is expected to suit up on the team's Western Conference road swing to Windsor and London that kicks off Thursday.
