Broncos Exhibition Games to Benefit Charities

The Swift Current Broncos will host 2 exhibition games, on Friday, September 10th against Medicine Hat and Saturday, September 18th against Prince Albert.
The exhibition games will both benefit charities, as the team will donate a portion of the money raised at the September 10th game to the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation and a portion of
the money raised at the September 18th game will benefit the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The games will both be at 7:00PM at the Credit Union i-plex. Tickets for the games will be $8 for adults and free for students and children. The Broncos will donate $3 from each adult ticket to charity for the exhibition games.

The Broncos will also be donating $2 from each ticket sold to the Extreme Pita Black/White Intra Squad game to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Black/White game will be played Monday, August 30th at 7:00PM and will be the wrap-up to the Extreme Pita Training Camp with the winning team receiving the Extreme Pita Cup. Admission for the game is $5 for adults and free for students and children.

The Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation raises money for the Cypress Health Region. Their annual radiothon is September 17th from 5:00AM to 5:00PM at the Swift Current Mall.

The Children’s Wish Foundation raises money to help grant kids that have had many challenges to overcome, their dream wishes.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based charitable organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of those living with the disease.
