The Manitoba Junior Hockey League returns to the province’s sporting scene, with its exhibition schedule opening Tuesday. A full slate of games are scheduled from August to September 13. The MJHL regular season opens September 17.
On Tuesday, defending MJHL champion Dauphin Kings take on division rival Swan Valley Stampeders, while MJHL finalists Winnipeg Saints face Winnipeg Blues.
“Everyone is back to square one in terms of wins and losses,” Kim Davis, MJHL Commissioner said today. “The pre-season allows teams to evaluate existing talent and get a look at younger players who are in the system.”
