Another Omaha U16 player gets call to the USHL

The Omaha AAA Lancers 16U Hockey Club of the North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL) announced today that Chris Wilkie, a 15-year-old forward from Omaha, Nebraska has been called up by the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL) to play Wednesday night against the Tri City Storm.

The 5'11", 170 lbs. forward has produced 22 goals and 36 assists for 58 points to go along with 24 minutes in penalties in 26 games overall so far this season . In the PHL this year he has five goals and nine assists for 14 points in nine league contests. He leads his team in scoring this season in PHL contests.

This marks the second player from Omaha's 16U team in the PHL that has been called up to play in the USHL. Last week, Alex Schoenborn, a 15-year-old forward was called up to play for Lincoln. He played in two games for the Stars, registering a +1 rating with no points and two penalty minutes.
