SANTA TO APPEAR AT 3rd ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS

Press Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - A tradition will continue Friday night as the Dubuque Fighting Saint will host the 3rd Annual Santa Claus Presents: Teddy Bear Toss for Toys for Tots, presented by Queen B Radio. Fans are encouraged to bring an unwrapped teddy bear to arena for Friday night's game versus Team USA U-18 and throw the bear onto the ice after the Fighting Saints notch their first goal. All stuffed animals thrown onto the ice will go towards a great cause this holiday season and will be donated to children in need through Toys for Tots. Puck drop is slated for 7:35 p.m.

Queen B Radio, radio home of the Fighting Saints on Super Hits 106, has pulled some strings to get Santa Claus away from his busy schedule to attend the game. Santa will be bringing holiday cheer to the arena and will be available to meet with children and take gift requests. Additionally, Santa will showcase his hidden talent, as he will sing the National Anthem prior to puck drop.

Combined between the first two Teddy Bear Toss events the Fighting Saints have held, the organization has gathered nearly 1,000 teddy bears for Toys For Tots for those in need during the holiday season. This year, the Fighting Saints will add to that number to help spread holiday cheer in Dubuque and beyond. Fans may also bring additional donations and gifts for Toys for Tots to the arena.

Tickets are available by calling 563.583.6880 and online at DubuqueFightingSaints.com.
