Press Release
The Owen Sound Attack will be taking their show on the road next week
when they travel to the P&H Centre in Hanover to practice Monday,
February 25th.
The Attack coaching staff will be conducting a full practice from
6:00pm-7:00pm, followed by a skate with the community from
7:00pm-8:00pm. Admission to the practice will be by donation and all
proceeds will go directly to Hanover Minor Hockey for the purchase of
new uniforms.
“We receive tremendous support from Hanover and the surrounding
area.”, stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent
Fisher. “It is fantastic that we are able to get out into our
surrounding communities and give back in this manner.”
This is the second year in a row the Attack has travelled to the P&H Centre to practice.
“Hanover Minor Hockey is delighted to welcome the Attack to Hanover
for the second year in a row.”, stated Steve Fitzsimmons. “It was a
huge thrill for our hockey players and the team's many area fans last
year and they are equally as excited to see them again on the 25th. We
are very grateful to the Attack organization and players for agreeing to
visit us again.”
This practice comes on the heels of Hanover Minor Hockey purchasing
over 500 tickets through the Attack’s fundraising program for several
home games throughout the 2012/2013 season. The Attack’s fundraising
program provides organizations or groups an opportunity to raise money
through the sale of Owen Sound Attack tickets.
