Gamblers break franchise record with 14th consecutive home win

Press Release

The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) set a franchise record in the Tier 1 era with the team’s 14th consecutive home win on Saturday night with a 4-3 victory over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in front of 7,507 fans during the team’s annual Teddy Bear Toss.

“With the success the Gamblers organization has experienced in the past five years, any record of that magnitude is a great feat.” said head coach Derek Lalonde. “This is a credit to our fans and the home ice advantage we enjoy at the Resch Center.”

The current streak surpasses the 13 consecutive home win streak set during the 2010-2011 season from 10/22/10 to 01/22/11 under the guidance of head coach Eric Rud.
The Gamblers are currently 27-14-3 (57 points) and rank third in the USHL Eastern Conference.
