EJHL Players of the Week

Press Release

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nick Geraci (Green Mountain Glades)

Nick may have only joined the Glades last week but he wasted little time in making an impression. In his first two games with his new team, he led the offense with seven points, scoring twice and adding five assists to help the Glades to a road sweep in Philadelphia. Nick hails from Old Bridge, NJ, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Geraci.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jacob Rutt (New Hampshire Junior Monarchs)

In a pivotal 2nd meeting with the Bridgewater Bandits, Rutt netted his first career hat trick, as the Monarchs would win by a score of 7-1. The Scarborough, ME native would score 2 straight in the 2nd frame, adding an assist as well. He would score his 3rd goal and record his 4th point of the game in the final period. A big, skilled defenseman who has received a lot of early D1 interest, Jacob is the son of Lisa and Norman Rutt.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Trent Ruffolo (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs)

The Yale recruit had 4 points in a 7-1 victory over the Bridgewater Bandits this past weekend. Among those 4 points were 2 goals in the 1st period that would go on to be the game-tying and game-winning goals. In 12 games this season Trent has 8 goals and 9 assists. His 17 points place him 2nd on the team in scoring. Trent is the son of Kelly and John Ruffolo of Coral Springs, FL.
