Brett Goulet Named Head Recruiter/Assistant Coach

The Brooks Bandits are pleased to announce the addition of Brett Goulet to the team’s staff. Brett will assume the role of Head Recruiter and will also spend time with the team as an Assistant Coach.

Brett has a deep experience within both coaching and scouting. Most recently he was the Head Coach of the UFA Bison Midget AAA program based out of Strathmore, AB. Prior to that Brett was the Head Coach of the Airdrie Xtreme and led the team to a Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship. He was also involved with the Prince George Cougars of the WHL as a Scout in the Calgary Area.

Head Coach/GM Ryan Papaioannou – “I’m very happy to have Brett join our staff. I think anytime we can add quality people to our program it will translate into success for our organization. Brett will play a major role off the ice working with our Director of Scouting – Irv Heide to identify young talent and begin the recruiting process. He is also going to be an asset behind the bench working with our players from a skill and tactics point of view”
