Gilmours Contract Extended

Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations and General Manager for the Kingston Frontenac Hockey Club is pleased to announce that the Frontenacs and Head Coach Doug Gilmour have reached agreement on a five year contract extension with the Club.

"We believe that we have the right people and players in place and that this represents a positive move for the organisation for now and into the future," said Mavety.

In his second season behind the bench, Gilmour led the Frontenacs to a 25 point improvement resulting in a fourth place finish in the Eastern Conference for the Club.

Training Camp for the Black and Gold will open on Wednesday September 1st as the players report for physicals and on-ice begins the following day.
