QMJHL mourns loss of former player

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, July 26, 2010 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is in mourning following the loss of former Hull Festivals defenseman Michel Philion.

Philion played three seasons in the QMJHL, all with the Festivals, registering six points in eighty-two contests. Following his major junior career, he became the team's trainer for several seasons.

He went on to become the Director of Arena Services for the City of Gatineau.

The entire Quebec Major Junior Hockey League family extends its deepest condolences to the Philion family.
