Press Release

(Windsor) Earlier today, the Windsor Spitfires concluded their 2010 prospects development camp with all participating players taking part in the Blue vs. Red intra-squad scrimmage, as Team Red defeated Team Blue by a count of 4-3. Forward Eric Locke (Mississauga Rebels Min. Midget AAA - GTHL) scored two goals for Team Red, including the game winner 9:35 into the second period. Team Red defenceman Steven Trojanovic (Oakville Blades Tier 2 - OJHL) registered one goal and an assist to help lead his team to victory while Team Blue forward Brady Vail (Waterloo Black Hawks - USHL), scored one goal and registered one assist.

Windsor Spitfires Head Coach Bob Jones offered the following on the two-day camp, "Warren Rychel and Terry Doran have done the Spitfires proud. We have a plethora of talent once again and this camp was further evidence of the great job done by Warren, Terry and the entire scouting staff. The speed and skill exhibited by the players at camp was impressive, given that many of them have not played a competitive game in at least a few months. I'm very pleased with how hard the players competed today and throughout the camp. The hockey operations department was very happy with the quality of play over both days.
