MJHL's MVP Dickin signs on with UND

The Selkirk Steelers are proud to announce that forward Taylor Dickin has accepted a scholarship to play Division 1 hockey at the University of North Dakota.

The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Dickin will join the Sioux this fall.

The 21 year old Winnipeg product has played the last three seasons with the Steelers. He capped off his junior career with a tremendous 2009-10 campaign. Playing in all 62 league games, Dickin recorded 40 goals and 52 assists totalling 92 points. This was good for 3rd in the MJHL scoring race. For his efforts Dickin was named the MVP of the league.

Dickin recently returned from the Toronto Maple Leafs prospects camp where he was able to showcase his skills to the Leafs brass.

The Selkirk Steelers would like to congratulate Taylor on his scholarship and wish him all the best at UND.
