Boucher-Gould Commits to Clarkson University

Press Release

The Sioux City Musketeers are proud to announce that first-year forward Jordan Boucher-Gould has committed to Clarkson University of the ECAC.

The St. Therese, Quebec native has played in five games as a Musketeer after being acquired from the New Mexico Mustangs of the North American Hockey League on October 19th.

The 17-year old recorded his first USHL goal in his first game on October 22nd against the Tri-City Storm and has one goal and two points on the season.

“We’re very pleased to see Jordan commit to a fine college program,” said Musketeers Head Coach and GM Brett Larson. “He’s a young kid who has come in and given us a spark offensively and he still has a ton of potential for growth as a player.”

Boucher-Gould notched three goals and eight points in 11 games for New Mexico before coming to Sioux City.

He was also one of the highest scoring midget players in the country in 2010-11, recording 53 goals and 131 points in 58 games for Omaha AAA 16U of the NAPHL.

Boucher-Gould is the eleventh player on the active roster to commit to a Division 1 College program and he is the fifth Musketeer to commit to an ECAC school.
