Dec. 2 Game Moved to Rose Garden

Press Release

With the cancelation of NBA games through December 15, the Portland Winterhawks have moved the December 2 game against the Everett Silvertips to the Rose Garden. Game time is 7 p.m.

Tickets for that game will go on sale tomorrow at Noon at the Rose Quarter box office, winterhawks.com and the team’s ticket office inside Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Season ticket and package holders have received a seat location card in the mail, and should bring the card and their Coliseum ticket to the game.

All other December home games are already set for the Rose Garden, including the Teddy Bear Toss on Dec. 3 and the New Year’s Eve game at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Another highly-anticipated game is just over a week away, when the Hawks host the Spokane Chiefs at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 in the Burgerville Daylight Classic. The Coliseum’s curtains will be open for that game, allowing the sun into the arena bowl, giving fans the feel of an outdoor game. With that game the day after Thanksgiving, it will be a fun holiday family activity.

Families can get a great deal to that game, as for $60 they will receive four 200-level tickets to the game and a $35 gift card to Burgerville. Fans can purchase the package at the Burgerville located near the Rose Quarter at 1135 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in person at the Hawks’ ticket office in the Coliseum or by phone at 503-236-HAWK.

Single game tickets to all Winterhawks games are available at the Rose Quarter box office, winterhawks.com and the team’s ticket office inside Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Five-game ticket plans are now available and start at just $60 per person and include five free gifts. Group rates start at 10 people ($16.50 per person) and every ticket includes a free Winterhawks hat. Call 503-236-HAWK or e-mail seats@winterhawks.com today to guarantee the best locations.
