Will, Gauthier and Morin are the TELUS three stars of the week

Press Release

Roman Will, Danick Gauthier and Pierre-Olivier Morin were named today the TELUS three stars of the week for the period spanning November 7th to the 13th, 2011.

Moncton Wildcats goaltender Roman Will is the first star. Saturday, against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, he registered a 4-0 shutout victory and was also named the 3rd star of the game after stopping 29 shots. Sunday, versus the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, he pushed away 28 pucks in a 5-1 victory. Friday, in a 7-3 victory over the PEI Rocket, he recorded one goal and added an assist on top of being named the game’s 3rd star. Saturday, in a 4-3 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads, he was named the first star of the game after scoring 2 goals, including the game-winner, and adding 2 assists. Finally, Sunday against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, he registered an assist as the Sea Dogs captured their 3rd win of the week. He finished the seven-day span with 3 goals, 4 assists and a +/- of +4.
