IceDogs Family Day Skills Competition Returns Monday!

The Niagara IceDogs are set to hold their 6th Annual Family Day Skills Competition Presented by Swiss Chalet at 4th and Van this coming Monday, February 18th. The event will once again be free to all fans.

This year’s skills competition will once again feature Team Bill taking on Team Denise, as Team Bill looks to pick up his first win and end Team Denise’s four year winning streak.

The events for this year’s Swiss Chalet at 4th and Van Skills Competition include:
- Puck Control Relay
- Fastest Skater
- Breakaway Challenge
- Shooting Accuracy (including goalies!)
- Hardest Shot
- Elimination Shootout
- 3-on-3 game

The Niagara IceDogs Swiss Chalet at 4th and Van Skills Competition is a great way to spend the Family Day holiday and is fun for fans of all ages. Everything gets underway at 1pm on Family Day, and admission is free to all fans, with seating locations available on a first come, first served basis.

In addition to all the fun of the skills competition, the retail store will be open starting at 12:30pm for everyone to come check out all the great IceDogs merchandise, including the new 2012/13 IceDogs Team Hockey Card Sets which will be available for the first time on Monday!  The players will all be signing autographs after the skills competition so fans can grab their team card sets and have all the players sign the cards immediately after.

Don’t miss your chance to catch all your favourite IceDogs do battle with each other in a fun competition for the always important bragging rights! With four straight losses you can be sure Bill will be looking to avenge his losses from previous years.  We hope to see everyone there at the Gatorade Garden City Complex this coming Monday!
