Jr. Blues Ink 2 more Tenders

The Springfield Jr. Blues are proud to announce they have signed two more players to tenders for the 2013-14 season.

The Jr. Blues signed Defensemen Les Lancaster, ’95, from Vicotry Honda U18 team. Lancaster, who is from Ypsilanti, Michigan, has 10 goals and 16 assists for Victory Honda in 40 games in the Tier 1 Elite League.  Lancaster played last season for Belle Tire U16 and had 32 points in 40 games. Victory Honda is tied with St. Louis for the best record in the Tier 1 Elite League.

The Jr. Blues also signed Kyle Shreve, ’94, to a tender for next season. Shreve has spent time with 3 separate teams this season. He started the year with the Michigan Warriors of the NAHL, then went to Belle Tire AAA and eventually ended up with the Metro Jets of the NA3HL. Shreve hails from Wixon, MI and currently has 8 points in 12 games with the Jets. The 6’2, 205 pound forward, will bring size and goal scoring ability to the Jr. Blues next season.
