Lumberjacks and Cumulus Media Strike Three-Year Radio Deal

MUSKEGON, Michigan (July 23rd) – The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Cumulus Media are excited to announce that both parties have agreed on a three-year deal to have all 60 regular season games along with pending playoff games broadcasted on 92.5 FM “The Outlaw.”

“We are excited to be partnering with the Muskegon Lumberjacks for the next three seasons as they have a tremendous fan base and put a fantastic product on the ice,” said Cumulus Media Sales Manager Rich Berry.  “We have a lot of respect and admiration for what the Lumberjacks are all about, and we are proud to be carrying all of the home and away games on 92.5 FM ‘The Outlaw’ to our listeners.”

In conjunction, the Lumberjacks are also thrilled to announce that they have reached a three-year deal with Meijer to serve as the presenting sponsor for all of the Lumberjacks’ broadcasts on the radio.

Media Relations Coordinator and Broadcaster Bryan Fongers will be returning for his second season as the voice of the Lumberjacks as he will be behind the microphone calling all the home and away games this upcoming season. The pregame coverage will begin ten minutes prior to puck drop.

The Lumberjacks will begin their 2013-14 regular season campaign on Saturday, September 21st in Green Bay against the Gamblers at 8:05 pm with their home opener slated for the following weekend on Saturday, September 28th against the Indiana Ice at 7:15 pm.
