Moncton Wildcats Goalie Coach, Frantz Jean, Named For a Second Consecutive Year On Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under 18 Coaching Staff

Press Release

MONCTON, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 – Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach, Frantz Jean, has been named for the second consecutive year Goaltending Consultant of Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under 18 team which will compete at the 2010 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in mid-August.

Frantz Jean will also take part in the teams training camp which will take place in Calgary in early August.

"It is a great honor to be part of this team for a second consecutive year and represent Canada on the international stage. The fact that expectations are always high for Canada’s Program of excellence pushes the players, the coaching staff and the support staff to be the best they can be. To me, that is an exciting perspective," explained Jean.

In September, Frantz Jean will start his 13th season as the Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach. Jean is also owner of Pro Tek Hockey, a goaltending school that operates in Québec, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.
