T-Birds Enter LeBron James Free Agent Frenzy

Kent,July 1, 2010 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are entering the LeBron James free agent frenzy. The T-Birds organization believes Mr. James would be an excellent addition to the team. He is a strong athlete who could be a dominant presence on the ice for the T-Birds during the 2010-11 season.

The T-Birds are currently putting together a package to woo Mr. James to Kent that includes:

*Grand Marshall of the Kent Cornucopia Parade

*Friendly billet families that will welcome LeBron into the Kent community.

*Free Preferred Parking at ShoWare Center

*Two free tickets to Opening Night of the 2010-11 season against the Portland Winterhawks in addition to a 24-Flex Ticket Package.

*Lunch with Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke (pending Mayor's schedule) and Cool Bird.

*Use of both Allied Waste Zambonis for personal recreation.

*James St. leading to ShoWare Center will be renamed LeBron James St.

*A suite at ShoWare Center to watch the Backstreet Boys on August 5

*Entry fee will be waived for participation in the ShoWare Shootout 3-on-3 basketball tournament on August 6 and 7.

*Discounts at the Hockey Store in ShoWare Center

The T-Birds are asking their fans to help them influence Mr. James to sign with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Fans should feel free to share any idea they might have on how the team can entice Mr. James to Kent. Share this news with your friends and get them to help out with the wooing of LeBron James.

Fans should share their ideas on how to persuade Mr. James to join the T-Birds on the T-Birds Facebook page.

The T-Birds will open the 2010-11 season at ShoWare Center on Saturday, September 25, against the Portland Winterhawks at 7:05 p.m.

T-Birds season tickets for the 2010-11 season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-PUCK (7825).
