Windsor Spitfires to Host Prospects Development Camp July 16 – 17, 2010

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that the team will be hosting a prospects development camp on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the WFCU Centre. Players drafted by the Spitfires in recent years and free agent invites will participate in the two-day camp which includes a fitness testing session and a series of scrimmage games to evaluate all players attending the camp.

The two-day camp schedule is as follows and the general public is encouraged to attend the following practices and scrimmages free of charge at the Windsor Star rink. Fans can enter the WFCU Centre through the Community Rinks entrance on the east side of the building.

Friday, July 16, 2010
Team Blue Practice 3 – 4 pm
Team White Practice 4:30 – 5:30 pm

Saturday, July 17, 2010
Team Scrimmages 10 am – Noon

The Windsor Spitfires will also be conducting a merchandise sale at The Crease store within the WFCU Centre on both days from 10 am – 4 pm on Friday, July 16 and from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday, July 17. Fans can also take their pictures with the Memorial Cup, J. Ross Robertson OHL league championship and the Wayne Gretzky OHL Western Conference championship trophies at The Crease from 10 am – 4 pm on Friday and 10 am – Noon on Saturday.
