Bottomley honoured by Dalhousie

A special ceremony took place before the first meeting of the Dalhousie Tigers and the Saint Mary's Huskies on Friday night. Jim Bottomley, Head Coach and GM of the CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks was on hand to see his number 8 jersey retired.

Bottomley, easily the MHL's most seasoned and successful coach, was Captain for the Tigers when they captured the 1979 AUS Championship. Bottomley was distinguished for his hard work and team play.

MHL President Derryl Smith presents Jim Bottomley with an award recognizing his achievements with Dalhousie.
