COLTS TRADE PAWLACZYK TO STING

The Barrie Colts have officially announced today that they have traded forward Dean Pawlaczyk to the Sarnia Sting in exchange for an eighth round draft pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection.

The Michigan born forward played all of last season with the Colts and racked up 117 minutes in penalties, fourth most on the team. He aso chipped in with a goal and two assists, and played in eight of Barrie's 17 playoff games.

Pawlaczyk played in just four games for Barrie this season and did not record a point. He has not dressed with the Colts since October 2nd.

The 18 year-old was originally drafted by Barrie in the fourth round, 66th overall in 2008.
