Champs Has a Nice "Ring" to It

Press Release

The final page has been turned on an unforgettable story that was the 2010/2011 Ontario Hockey League season.

Following the Attack’s Bell skate with the team, all of the players gathered in the Shore Room in a ceremony with parents and staff to receive their 2011 Championship Rings.

Fifty Six players and staff received the Championship rings, which were manufactured by Baron and purchased locally through D.C. Taylor Jewellers in downtown Owen Sound.

“We are extremely happy with the way the rings turned out.”, stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. “The entire Attack Ownership Group had a hand in designing the rings and the assistance both Baron and D.C. Taylors provided was second to none.”

The rings have the “Attack” word across the face, over top of the J. Ross Robertson Cup with the outline of the face saying “Ontario Hockey League Champions”. One side of the ring has the players name and number while the other side of the ring has the Attack logo with “Grey-Bruce” under it.

The Hishon, Wilson and Heelis family accepted the rings on their children’s behalf, however; some of the players and their families were unable to attend due to other commitments.

"We can be sad that they're not here but we can be happy in a way that they're not because that means that they're all still experiencing new opportunities," said team President Dr. Bob Severs. "We miss them today but we're happy that they're all getting these great opportunities."
