Clips' Kramer takes Player of the Week honours

Nanaimo Clippers forward Kyle Kramer is the British Columbia Hockey League's Player of the Week for the Week ending Nov. 6 the league announced Monday.

Kramer led the Clips to two wins in three games and was named 1st Star in each of the victories. The Qualicum Beach native began the week with two goals and two assists in a win over Victoria and finished up with a goal and three helpers in a comeback win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

Kramer continues to lead Nanaimo in scoring with 14 goals and 12 assists on the season.

Honourable mentions this week go to Vernon Vipers defenceman Ryan Renz (three games, four assists, doubled season points total), Merritt Centennials forward Chad Brears (three games, three goals, two GWG, two 1st Stars), Surrey Eagles forward Tyler Morley (three games, two goals, three assists, 1st Star, 2nd Star) and Merritt goalie Tyler Steel (two games, two OT wins, 1.95 goals-against average, .925 save percentage).
